Every once in a while we need a little extra help. Not just you, everyone. Some things just need to be, well, tougher than others!
But here is the thing…sometimes you paint an item that is going to take a beating.
Maybe your kitchen table. Maybe you have kids, or cats, or just yourself, and you know that that table is not going to be treated well.
So don’t let the work you did creating a beautiful, hand painted finish be spoiled. Just grab your little bottle of power!
Using Fusion, followed by Tough Coat, even if you are really, really hard on it, your work will stay looking like new. Even if your friends dance on the table in their heels! We haven’t actually tested that…but still.
We promise you, Tough Coat is your best friend!
Fusion Mineral Paint is famous for its built in top coat. It is waterproof, scrubbable and non-pourous – so no top coat required for normal use.
But what is normal? Well only you can decide what that is in your house, but if you paint a surface and you know that the piece is going to be a workhorse – grab the Tough Coat
HOW TO USE:
Ensure the Poly is well mixed prior to use, but do not shake. If applying to a recently painted surface, allow 12-24 hours of drying time before applying. For best results, use with a damp lint free rag and apply two coats 2-4 hours apart. In humid areas, longer drying times may be required.
GOOD TO KNOW:
500ml covers about 75 sq.ft (7m2). Always test your methods and process to ensure best results. Clean up is easy with soap and warm water.
Be sure to gently mix your Tough Coat™ prior to using it as the matting agent and other ingredients may settle to the bottom.
Do not shake vigorously as this will cause air bubbles in your piece that are difficult to remove once applied.
FROM OUR TUTORIALS:
NOTE: Fusion Tough Coat may appear milky when applied over dark Fusion Mineral Paint colours, such as Coal Black, Ash, Chocolate and Midnight Blue. We recommend using Fusion Beeswax Finish instead of Fusion Tough Coat for top coating dark colours.
